Bullet Train: a fit Brad Pitt in the explosive trailer

Brad Pitt has never been so cool.

Become quite rare, the presence of Brad Pitt on the screen is always a small event. Three years after his role as a stuntman in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, he is back in the cinema in a role that goes beyond fiction. In Bullet Train, he plays Ladybug, an assassin aboard a TGV, a role for which he would have performed 95% of the stunts.

For this new project, the actor finds David Leitch, the director of Deadpool 2, also a former stuntman and stunt coordinator, with whom he briefly collaborated in the role of Vanisher of the X-Force in the adaptation of the adventures of the anti -Marvel hero played by Ryan Reynolds. More stylish than ever, Brad Pitt boards a TGV for Tokyo with four other assassins who discover that their respective missions are not unrelated to each other.

David Leitch adapts here the eponymous work of the Japanese Kotaro Isaka and seems to have injected a hint of irreverence à la Deadpool. If Lady Gaga had initially been announced in the casting of this camera on rails, she ultimately did not take part in the project, which counts, among its passengers, Joey King, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon or Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Bullet Train is slated for theaters on July 20, 2022.
